Iran sanctions 15 US companies for human rights abuse

TEHRAN, Mar. 26 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Ministry released a statement on Sunday enlisting 15 American companies involved in human rights violation under Iran’s sanctions from March 21.

“To protect its sovereignty and existence, and to provide security for its people, the Islamic Republic of Iran observes no limitation for itself,” reads part of a statement issued by Iran’s Foreign Ministry on Sunday in response to the new unilateral sanctions of the US against Iran.

“The new measures of the American government, in imposing unilateral sanctions beyond its borders against individuals and entities from Iran and other countries based on fabricated and unjustified claims, are unfit to the international laws and regulations and betray the letter and general spirit of the JCPOA.” The statement continues with condemning the acts of Americans and reiterates that Iran will never compromise over its defense programs and capabilities as a measure to conserve its legitimate right of self-defense in face of any foreign aggression and enhancement of its deterrence power against threats.

The announcement affirms that after the statement of the ministry on February 5, 2017, and to put into practice the decision passed by the high council of Iran’s Security, 15 American companies, who have been involved in infringing human rights, whose partnership in anti-humane crimes of the Israeli regime has been clearly proved for the Iranian government, or have been violating the UN resolution 2234, have been put under Iranian government’s sanctions since March 21, 2017.

“Henceforth, any contact with these companies and entities is illegal, their properties and possession within the reach of Iranian government’s jurisdiction will be confiscated, and no Iranian visa will be issued for the people who hold positions in these companies are in relation with them.”

The statement reassures that the Iranian foreign ministry will continue its monitoring of companies, entities, natural and legal persons of American nationality who are involved in the crimes committed by the Israeli regime, supporting terrorism, crackdowns in the countries of the region, or accomplice in destabilizing the region. The statement asserts that if needed more names will be added to the list of those under Iranian government’s sanctions.

The following companies are put into the blacklist of anti-humanitarian companies sanctioned by the government of Iran; BENI Tal, United Technologies produces, RAYTHEON, ITT Corporation, Re/Max Real Estate, Oshkosh Corporation, Magnum Research Inc, Magnum Research Inc., Kahr Arms, M۷ Aerospace, Military Armament Corporation, Lewis Machine and Tool Company, Daniel Defense, Bushmaster Firearms International, O.F.
