Final stage of ‘Grand Prophet’ military drill begins

TEHRAN, Feb. 22 (MNA) – The last stage of ‘Grand Prophet’ military drill kicked off in northeast of Iran with special units of IRGC ground forces in action.

Iran’s military drill entitled ‘Prophet Mohammad-11’ has started with operations performed by Elite Iranian Special Forces named ‘Saberin Special Forces Brigade’.

During the military exercise, participating warriors will perform border defense against enemy invasion carrying heavy artillery fire on enemy positions in addition to conducting intelligence and combat measures. Moreover, drones will be used to fire advanced rockets to fixed and mobile targets.

The concluding phase of the drill is attended by Commander of Khatam-al Anbiya Central Headquarter Major general Gholam Ali Rashid, Deputy Commander of IRGC Brigadier General Hossein Salami as well as Brigadier-General Mohammad Pakpour, Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Ground Forces.

‘Grand Prophet’ military drilled got underway on February 20 in central areas of Iran while it will wrap up today in northeastern regions of the country.
