IME sees 9% growth mid-February

TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) – During weekdays ending up to February 16, while 422,358 MT of commodities worth over 291.7 million USD were traded in Iran Mercantile Exchange, trading value experienced a growth of 9%.

According to the report from IME International Affairs and PR, last week, on the domestic and export metal and mineral trading floor of IME, 162,586 MT of various products worth close to 147.7 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 144,326 MT of steel products, , 6,700 MT of copper, 10,440 MT of aluminum, 1,000 MT of coke and 120 MT of molybdenum concentrates were traded.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 237,328 MT of different commodities with the total value of 133.6 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, more than 87,943 MT of bitumen, 59,635 MT of polymer products, 44,000 MT of VB feed stock as well as 10,000 MT of lube-cut oil, 24,991 MT of chemical products, 8,324 MT of sulfur, 425 MT of insulation, 2,000 MT of slap waxes and 10 MT of argon were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor of IME, 21,295 MT of various commodities worth over 9.9 million USD were traded. On this trading floor, 5,170 MT of maize, 9,500 MT of wheat, 1,225 MT of sugar, 500 MT of meals and 4,900 MT of crude vegetable oil were traded by the customers.
