Pleasure of presence at Razavi Shrine unique

TEHRAN, Jul. 27 (MNA) – An American Muslim convert said the love of Imam Reza (SA) has brought him to Iran outlining pleasure of presence at the hallowed shrine as very unique.

In an interview with Astan News while attending at the Razavi Holy Shrine, Jonathan who has chosen Yousefali as his new Muslim name stated “it was five years ago that I visited Razavi Shrine for the first time and since the very early moments of the first visit, I wanted God to give me another chance of coming to this Holy Shrine.”

The American Muslim, who converted to Islam at the age of 26, went on to note “I did not believe in God when I was a teenager; however, I got interest in Islam and became a Muslim when studying philosophical books and having researches on it.”

“Establishment of a Husseiniyeh near my home and getting familiar with the clergyman of the center made me more familiarized with details of the religion and as a result I found that Islam is the most complete and comprehensive religion of Allah which is superior to all other religions,” added California's seminary student.

On the sideline of his visit to Quran and Exquisite Treasury of Astan Quds Razavi, he said the collection is really amazing and its beautiful architecture and exquisite objects have turned it into a very unique museum adding “the museum also conveys a special sense of spirituality to the visitor.”

“Existence of such a unique collection is a big chance for the Iranian people. I envy them, as we don't have such a collection in the US,” Yousefali stated.

Maintaining that he had decided to immigrate to Iran since his first visit, the American pilgrim continued “I felt that all my questions can be answered and all my lost things can be found here in Iran; therefore, I decided to come to Qom to continue my seminary education.”

It is worth mentioning that Yousefali and 19 other American Muslims went on the pilgrimage of Imam Reza's (AS) Holy Shrine and visited museums of Astan Quds Razavi.

Organization's treasuries of Quran and Exquisites, Supreme Leader's gifts, hand written Qurans attributed to the purified Imams (AS), Mr. Farshchian's museum, and sections of calligraphy and painting hall and also cover pages and writing instruments marked the sections visited by the group.
