Romanian FM due in Iran to address political, economic coop.

TEHRAN, Feb. 29 (MNA) – Romanian Minister of Foreign Affairs Lazar Comanescu will arrive in Tehran today, on Feb. 29, national news agency of Romania released.

Comanescu official visit to Tehran will take place from February 29 to March 02, to discuss the resumption of political, diplomatic and economic cooperation with Iranian authorities.

Lazar Comanescu will meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani and President Hassan Rouhani during his visit to Tehran.

Meeting with Iranian Economic and Oil Ministers are among other plans in Romanian foreign minister’s agenda.

A high-ranking economic delegation will accompany the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Romania, which consists of senior officials from the Ministries of Energy and the Economy, Chamber of Commerce as well as trade representatives of Romania.

He will attend the opening of Iran-Romania economic forum in Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran and will consult with Mohammad Javad Zarif on the regional and global developments, in particular the Middle East crisis.
