Amoli noted a high-ranking delegation headed by Swiss President Johann Schneider-Ammann will pay a visit to Iran next week to develop excellent relations especially in the fields of science and technology.
The delegation includes the heads of the Ministry of Science and prestigious academic centers in Switzerland, which are scheduled to discuss ways of communication and cooperation with Iranian universities.
“Consulting and discussing academic cooperation between Iran and Switzerland will be among the main topics of the visit,” Amoli added.
During their meeting, a memorandum of understanding will be signed between the Swiss and Iranian universities, including University of Isfahan, University of Tehran and Sharif University of Technology.
Deputy Science Minister also pointed to the eminent visit of Iran’s 10 major universities, including University of Tehran, Allameh Tabataba'i University, Univerity of Isfahan, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad, Khajeh Nasir Toosi University of Technology, Iran University of Science and Technology and Shahid Beheshti University to Iraq upon the invitation of Iraqi Interior Minister Mohammed Salem al-Ghabban, to plan cooperation on academic issues.
