TEHRAN, Jan. 15 (MNA) – Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani in a message to his Indonesian counterpart extended his condolences to the families of the victims of the deadly terror attacks in Jakarta on Thursday.

"I was deeply saddened to learn about the loss of innocent lives in a series of bomb blasts that occurred in the center of Jakarta," Iranian Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said in a condolence message sent to his Indonesian counterpart Ade Komarudin late Thursday.

"I strongly condemn Thursday’s terrorist attack in Jakarta and extend my condolences to the Indonesian government and people, especially the families of those killed, and wish a quick and full recovery to those injured," said Larijani.

“This terror attack once again reminded us of the threat posed by Takfiri and extremist groups to the security, progress and peace of all countries,” said Larijani, calling for collective cooperation and resolve from all countries in combating the threat of terrorism.
