The second gathering of TIBF 2016 (Tehran International Book Fair) policymaking council was held on Wednesday in Tehran.
According to the spokesman of the council Ali Akbar Asha'ri, the 2016 edition of the event will kick off on May 5, 2016 and run through for 10 days until May 15, as the council decided.
Asha'ri added that other issues, which was discussed and considered by the council, were the 'Special Guest' as well as ' City Guest'.
Russia was elected as the guest of honor in the 29th edition of the TIBF, Asha'ri said.
