Iran to continue advanced, commercial enrichment

TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – Iranian FM Zarif said the comprehensive agreement reached in Vienna allows Iran to continue enrichment in advanced and commercial levels.

Headed by FM Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s nuclear negotiating team arrived in Tehran Wednesday morning and was warmly welcomed in Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport.

Concluding 18 days of tight-scheduled negotiations with the representatives of six world states during the eight rounds of nuclear talks, the team left Vienna Tuesday night.

Members of the team paid pilgrimage to the holy shrine of Imam Reza in Iranian northeastern city of Mashhad first and then flew to Tehran on Wednesday morning.

Talking to reporters upon his arrival at Tehran's Mehrabad Airport earlier today, Zarif noted that Iran is scheduled to keep on its enrichment and all financial and banking sanctions against Iran will be canceled on the very first day of the implementation of the deal.

The UN Security Council is expected to meet as early as next week to endorse the deal and replace older resolutions, Zarif said, adding that this is the first time the Council will recognize enrichment program of a developing country.

"Our people stand against sanctions, however, they show heroic flexibility in the face of respect and dialogue, which leads to positive outcomes for everyone," Iranian FM underlined.

He ensured that the redlines set by Iranian Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei all have been observed in the comprehensive agreement.
