Zarif, Mogherini’s final statement expected in few hours

VIENNA, Jul. 14 (MNA) – Iran's Foreign Minister and EU foreign policy chief are to read a joint final statement on Tehran’s nuclear agreement in Vienna in a few hours, says an Iranian official close to Iran’s negotiating team.

The joint statement concluding the marathon talks between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries was supposed to be read early Tuesday at the UN headquarter, but the sides have pushed the time forward at reportedly 12:45 AM local time (15:15 PM Tehran time).

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini are set to read the final statement on Tehran's nuclear agreement in the presence of the six states foreign ministers.

Some 800 reporters from various parts of the world are currently in Vienna to cover the event.

The conclusion of the nuclear talks between Iran and the 5+1 group of countries over the past 22 months has been organized in 100 pages following successive self-imposed deadlines.

Meanwhile, Western diplomats have confirmed to foreign media outlets that the talks have reached a conclusion, and the negotiating sides have reached an agreement.
