N-deal available if West avoids greed

TEHRAN, Jun. 29 (MNA) – Head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Ali-Akbar Salehi said reaching a final agreement is possible if the other party live up to its commitments to Lausanne understanding.

On the sidelines of a ceremonial conference on the occasion of Judiciary Week yesterday, Ali-Akbar Salehi pointed to the criteria of a good agreement and stressed that both sides have their own impression of an ideal deal which indicates the need for finding a middle ground to reach a mutual agreement best for all.

While underlining that such an agreement will not curb or slow down any nuclear activities, Salehi said the other side has some concerns which can be resolved by international opinions.

Pointing to some of West's baseless concerns, Salehi said, "We have repeatedly said that Iran's peaceful nuclear program is for technological purposes and their application will be according to international standards which may resolve their concerns."

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has set its own boundaries for nuclear talks, which lets no opportunity cross the redlines," Salehi reiterated.
