Obama showing weakness in Iran talks

TEHRAN, Jun. 27 (MNA) – Source close to the Iranian negotiating team says Obama is showing signs of weakness in face of internal opposition as well as regional opposition to agreement.

An informed source close to Iranian negotiating team who spoke to Mehr News on the condition of anonymity described the weakness as the reason “why the US is constantly increasing its demands and moving goalposts. That is also why the US is trying to include unrelated military sites in the talks and to keep the sanctions regime in place.”

According to the informed source, Iranian team also doesn't trust the Americans, because it didn't properly implement the Geneva agreement although Iran did. “The news about the US experimenting on how to attack Iranian nuclear sites, also increases suspicion.”

The source also asserted that Ayatollah Khamenei's speech was a response to US behavior and unending demands.

“The Iranian team also believes that the US may not negotiate seriously in Vienna, because it is already playing the blame game,” concluded the source.
