Representatives from Iran and the 5+1 group of countries continue their talks over Tehran’s nuclear program in the Austrian capital, Vienna in a bid to hammer out a final comprehensive deal.

Negotiations between Iranian Deputy Foreign Ministers Seyed Abbas Araghchi and Majid Takht-Ravanchi and 5+1 representative Helga Schmid began on Thursday, at 10:00 local time (Tehran time: 12:30) on the text of a possible comprehensive deal on Tehran’s nuclear program.

Meanwhile, expert-level talks are also underway on the second day of the latest round of negotiations.

The negotiations are based on a mutual understanding reached between the two sides in Lausanne in April.
