Gen. Soleimani:

US in league with ISIL

US in league with ISIL

TEHRAN, May 25 (MNA) – The commander of IRGC Quds forces Major. Gen. Qasem Soleimani has said US failure to stop ISIL attacks despite presence in Iraq proves its alliance with the terrorist group.

“How is it possible for the US troops to be present in Ramadi under the pretext of supporting Iraqi nation and yet do nothing to stop the killings there? Can this fact mean anything other than their involvement in the conspiracy?” asked the Commander of IRGC Quds Forces Major. Gen. Qasem Soleimani rhetorically among the war veterans of Kerman Province.

Dubbing ISIL the ‘plague’ and ‘great catastrophe’ of the world, Gen. Soleimani stressed Iran must quarantine its borders to prevent the ‘plague’ from infecting the country, and at the same time assist the afflicted countries in their fight against ISIL.

Noting that Iran was the only country to seriously undertake combating ISIL, Gen. Soleimani added “our human responsibilities do not allow us to witness the crumbling of a nation under such atrocities.”

Gen. Soleimani stressed that Iran does not seek any personal interests in Iraq, and has no need for Iraq’s territory or oil.

He further added that the Islamic Republic was the most peaceful of all countries and has never casued trouble for any nations.

He also commended the Leader’s tactful mannerism in overcoming various conflicts, saying the leader’s wisdom has managed to control and not to oppress the conflicting sentiments in various periods of time.
