Zarif arrives in Geneva

TEHRAN, Feb. 21 (MNA) – Mohammad Javad Zarif, Hossein Fereydoun, and Ali Akbar Salehi arrived in Geneva to attend the negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif arrived in Geneva to hold bilateral meeting with his American counterpart, John Kerry.

Hossein Fereydoun, President Rouhani’s Senior Advisor, and Ali Akbar Salehi, the Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, are accompanying Zarif in this round of talks.

While Zarif is scheduled to hold talks with Kerry on Sunday and Monday, Salehi will hold meeting with the US Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz this afternoon on the accompany of Araghchi and Takht Ravanchi.

Salehi will also hold meeting with his Swiss counterpart and have the responsibility of discussing technical issues of ongoing negotiations.

Fereydoun is accompanying Iranian negotiation team to facilitate and hasten the needed consultations and coordination.

Zarif, however, did not answer the questions on his arrival and postponed the interviews to a later time.
