TEHRAN, Mar. 29 (MNA) – Iranian FM has a tight schedule of separate meetings with his counterparts today on fifth day of talks.

Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif who is in Lausanne for intensive talks on Iran’s nuclear program with the 5+1 in what German FM Steinmeier has described as ‘final steps’ of negotiations, began his meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry at 8 am local time (GMT +2, Tehran time 10:30 am).

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi who arrived in Lausanne earlier this morning, is scheduled to meet with Zarif at 10:45 local time.

In his afternoon agenda, Mohammad Javad Zarif will sit at table with British Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond at 14 hours.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is also expected to arrive in the Swiss city at 1700 hours local time. Lavrov is expected to have bilateral talks with Zarif, the time of the meeting, however, is to be announced later.

On fourth day of this round of negotiations, Iran’s Zarif met with French FM Laurent Fabius and German FM Frank-Walter Steinmeier in separate meetings on Saturday. Following the meetings Zarif described his talks with the two European officials positive and reiterated that Iran has shown flexibility and political will to reach a deal and that it was the other side’s turn to show its political will. “We discussed all topics needed to be resolved and I think we made progress and can have necessary progress to write down the deal. The other parties have understood that sanctions, pressure and agreement cannot exist altogether.”
