Iran against incomplete, ambigiuos agreement: Zarif

GENEVA, Feb. 22 (MNA) – Iranian FM announced no special agreement has been made during last two days of nuclear negotiations held in Geneva.

Iranian FM Mohammad Javad Zarif, while noting that no special agreement has been made during last two days of nuclear negotiations held in Geneva, emphasized the need for the presence of Dr. Salehi, Head of Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) in negotiations since he has complete nuclear knowledge required to advance the talks. “We have reached a stage which requires a person with complete knowledge on Iran’s nuclear issues."

Zarif who is in Geneva to join ongoing nuclear talks, pointed to the meetings held between Iran’s deputies with their US counterparts and said, “deputy ministers have held useful discussions; however, no specific agreement has been made on nuclear issues.”

Pointing to Iran’s emphasis on a single-phase deal on nuclear talks, Zarif stressed that Iran would not accept any incomplete or ambigiuos agreement.
