Zarif inaugurates embassy's new building in Belarus

TEHRAN, Feb. 18 (MNA) – Iran’s FM inaugurated the new building of Iran's embassy in capital city of Belarus, Minsk.

On his one-day visit to Belarus, Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif inaugurated the new building of Iran's embassy during a formal ceremony attended by foreign ambassadors in Belarus.

Addressing the participants including Belarusian prime minister and foreign ambassadors in the inauguration ceremony, Zarif said the new embassy represents the relations between Iran and the Republic of Belarus which was very good in the past and will be expanded in the near future to further promote peace and stability in the region.

“We hold good relations in political, economic and cultural areas with Belarus and agreed to develop and deepen cooperation during the visit of Belarus president to Tehran that will occur in the near future,” Zarif added.

Iran's FM Zarif said that Iran supports friendly and constructive relations with all countries of the world including Belarus.
