In a message issued on Monday, Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani felicitated Italy’s newly elected 73-year-old President Sergio Mattarella and expressed hope that Tehran and Rome ties would further promote in line with the interests of both nations.
President Rouhani, while expressing willingness to expand relations with Italian new government, wished for prosperity and progress of both Italian nation and its government.
