According to IRNA, Payam Tayyebi said the evaluation and judgment board of annual award in IHRC has found Minister Hashemi as the most qualified for this award.
Tayyebi stated that the Ministry of Health and Medical Education had a great performance regarding its achievements in involving different parts of the government and society in advancing the health reform program. “The health minister has executed different inclusive plans in all dimensions of citizens’ health in a way that all people affirmed the reforms and tried to accompany the government demands in this field,” he added.
He emphasized that based on the evaluation, Minister Hashemi had the highest rate of creation and promotion of public trust, which is a great resource and credit for the country and government.
The deputy asserted that this commission has also appreciated the performance of Ministries of Road and Urban Development, Education, Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare, and Department of Environment Protection.
Tayyebi said the IHRC meanwhile had evaluated the best scientific works of the year, however, no research or educational work had qualified to receive the award.
“Evaluating the performance of civil institutions of Iran dedicated to human rights development, several foundations have been selected to be acknowledged and their useful experiences in this field would be published to improve the capacity and capabilities of Iranian activists,” he added.
This is the second time this commission evaluates and appreciates different organizations and institutes regarding their performance on issues of human rights.
Last year, this award was granted to Mohammad Javad Zarif, the Iranian foreign minister.
