Iran, UK FMs confer ways to reopen embassies

TEHRAN, Sep. 22 (MNA) – Iran and UK FMs have met  in New York and discussed ways to reopen embassies in both countries.

Iran’s Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and English Counterpart Philip Hammond held a bilateral meeting in New York and stressed on necessity for more talks in regard to reopening of the embassies in both countries.

Zarif and Hammond also talked about the Iran nuclear negotiations which have been going on since the last Wednesday with Zarif and Ashton working lunch session.

Iranian nuclear negotiators have started the seven round of political and expert level nuclear talks with the 5+1 group on the sidelines of the 69th UN General Assembly in New York.

Iran President Hassan Rouhani left for New York on Monday and will deliver a speech on Iranians’ behalf in the UN General Assembly, Tuesday morning.
