Peugeot resolved to invest in Iran car industry

TEHRAN, July 14 (MNA) – IKCO and PSA Peugeot Citroën directors have expressed both companies’ willingness for cooperation.

Iran Khodro Industrial Group Director, Hashem Yekke Taz, and Jean-Christophe Quémard PSA Peugeot Citroën Operational Director of Middle-East and Africa discussed ways for comprehensive joint investments to boost production and exports.

Quémard emphasized on his company’s willingness to have Iran’s market which he highlighted as “a gate to the region’s market.”

They also emphasized on equipping the IKCO products with eco-friendly engines. Producing new generations of low-consuming engines was also discussed in the meeting.

PSA Peugeot Citroën is the second largest car company in Europe.
