'Revolution photographer' passes away

TEHRAN, May 19 (MNA) – Iran’s veteran photographer, known for his pictures taken during the first days of Islamic Revolution, has passed away on Sunday, May 18, in Tehran.

Hossein Partovi, ‘Revolution Photographer’, who took the renowned photo of Air Force personnel meeting with Imam Khomeini in 1979 died in coma after being sick in bed for six years.

 

 

The funeral of this renowned photographer will be held on May 23 in Tehran.
