Iran to hold Persian Gulf national seminar

TEHRAN, April 21 (MNA) – The Secretary of 10th National Persian Gulf Seminar has said it will held exhibitions to mark the day.

Babak Arsia, the head of Iranian Student Scientific-Cultural Tourism Center and the secretary of National Persian Gulf Seminar said that the 10th seminar would be held in Hormozgan province in Persian Gulf coasts.

“The seminar will be held in the Persian Gulf National Day on April 28-29,” he added, with the objective being “to realize the cultural objectives of the Islamic Republic in terms of protecting the territorial integrity and national identity and also understanding of political, social, and cultural aspects of the Persian Gulf.” 

“So far, the secretary had received valuable papers on the subject which will be finally presented as poster and orally after careful selection by the jurists,” said Arsia.

He also added that six specialist panels would discuss select papers on tourism, culture, society, history, art, and literature all focused on Persian Gulf.

“Exhibitions including Persian Gulf inscriptions, Persian Gulf music, environment and photo exhibition, historical maps of Persian Gulf exhibition, and making a human chain from Jask to Parsian are among the programs planned for the day,” Arsia asserted.

The festival will enjoy the cooperation of the Iranians Students Scientific-Cultural Tourism Center affiliated with University Jihad Center, Ministry of Culture, and Hormozgan’s provincial governorate.
