Next round of Iran N-talks on April 8

VIENNA, March 19 (MNA) – Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi has said on Tuesday that the next round of nuclear talks between Iran and the world powers will be April 8-10 in Vienna.

“Tuesday meetings focused on three topics and the fourth topic will be discussed Wednesday.” Araghchi said on Tuesday.

He asserted that "in the 1st session Iran sanctions removal was discussed, in another session Iran nuclear enrichment and in the 3rd meeting peaceful nuclear cooperation with Iran was discussed." He continued that on Wednesday session Arak heavy water complex will be the topic of Iran, Sextet negotiations.

Araghchi described the negotiations as ‘useful and serious’.

Iran nuclear negotiation team and the world powers started new round of nuclear negotiations in Vienna on Tuesday.

The first round of talks was held Tuesday morning between Iran’s foreign minister Mohamamd Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton as heads of negotiators of both sides.

Next rounds of talks were held on deputy-level with Iran’s deputy foreign minister Abbas Araghchi and EU chief’s aid Helga Schimd as heads.

Abbas Araghchi also met with US deputy foreign minister Wendy Sherman on the sidelines of the nuclear negotiations as bilateral meetings with the Powers.
