3 Japanese banks ready for Iran financial clearance

TEHRAN, March 5 (MNA) – Iran Central Bank has said 3 Japanese banks have expressed willingness to help in payments made by Iran for medical equipments and pharmaceuticals.

Iran Central Bank said “according to the negotiations between Islamic Republic of Iran’s delegation and Japanese officials in accordance to the Geneva interim deal, 3 Japanese banks have announced their willingness to help Iran in payments for its medical equipments and pharmaceuticals. 

Japanese Tokyo Mitsubishi, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC), and Mizuho Bank said they were ready to clear financial debts of Iran for clearance of payment for medical facilities and pharmaceuticals.
