Iran appoints new ambassador to Ireland

TEHRAN, March 3 (MNA) – Iran’s President Dr Hassan Rouhani after foreign minister’s suggestion has appointed Javad Kachuian as Iran’s new and plenipotentiary ambassador to Ireland.

Kachuian was especial Assistance to FM, Mohamamd Javad Zarif for Political and Cultural Affairs.

He was already Iran’s foreign minister’s consultant, head of Iran Scientific Committee, chief of Centre for European and American Studies, Iran’s ambassador to Finland, head of Eastern-European section of the foreign ministry, Charge d'affaires to Norway and Denmark and also deputy ambassador to Netherlands.
