Seyyed Abbas Araghchi told Mehr News correspondent that he would meet the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy for the European Union Catherine Ashton’s aid, Mrs. Helga Schmid, on January 9th and 10th (Thursday and Friday) in Geneva.
Araghchi had already said there were some political issues between Iran and P5+1 to be resolved before the nuclear deal went into effect which were due to be discussed in a meeting with Schmid.
Tehran and the six world powers have proposed January 20 as the date to implement the landmark Geneva deal in the case Araghchi and Schmid come to an agreement.
