Iran's short to premiere at Locarno Intl. Filmfest.

TEHRAN, Jul. 15 (MNA) – Iranian short film 'Negah', directed by Farnoosh Samadi, will go on screen at the competition section of Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland.

Negah is Samadi’s second film which narrates the story of a woman who finds out something happening on the bus on the way back home. She must decide to reveal the case, or not.

The film stars Marzieh Vafamehr, Amir Reza Ranjbaran, Pedram Ansari, Safoura Kazempour, Mehrdad Mohammadi, Kiana Asadi and Babak Karimi.

The Locarno Festival is an international film festival held annually in August in the city of Locarno, Switzerland since 1946. The main feature of the festival is the open-air screening area at the Piazza Grande with room for over 8,000 spectators, having one of the largest open-air screens in the world. The top prize of the Festival is the Golden Leopard awarded to the best film in the international competition.
