Asalem-Khalkhal green road
KHALKHAL, Jun. 08 (MNA) – The Almas pass located on Asalem-Khalkhal road, northwestern Iran, is one of the most beautiful communication routes in the country linking Gilan province to Ardabil. Neor Lake in Ardabil Prov.
ARDEBIL, Jun. 06 (MNA) – Neor Lake is a shallow lake located in Ardabil Province in the Baghru mountain range in northwest Iran. This lake was formed due to two fault zones during the Eocene period. The lake contains fish species of rainbow trout and fingerlings.

Prunus scorpia blossoms in Cahrmahahl and Bakhtiari

Prunus scoparia is a wild almond found in Turkey, Iran, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan. It is a xerophytic shrub and it has been used as a grafting stock for domesticated almonds to provide drought resistance.
