TEHRAN June 30 (MNA) -- The Japanese embassy’s economic attaché in Iran said Japanese industrialists and businessmen have expressed readiness to participate in Iran’s Metals Stock Exchange, news reports said here on Wednesday.

Iran is going to be one of the largest markets for metals in particular, in the steel sector in the Middle East region,” Masatu Sasaki added.

He stated that during the Assembly of Japan’s Large Industries to be held soon in Tokyo, he would present his report on the ways in which Japan could take part in the growing Iranian metal market.

Although Iran is geographically quite distant from Japan presenting difficulties regarding steel export or import, there are numerous other ways that Japanese businessmen could introduce and exchange their products in the Iranian metal stock exchange, he further explained.
