TEHRAN June 29 (MNA) —- In line with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Iran’s Central Insurance Department and Afghanistan’s National Insurance Company, the Iranian insurance industry will convene educational and practical courses for Afghans.

Ten professionals from the National Insurance Company of Afghanistan will participate in an educational course beginning June 22, 2004 that will be taught at the Dana, Iran, Alborz and Asia Insurance Companies.

 

Intended to elevate the Afghanis’ level of expertise, the course will focus on auto, fire and personal insurance as well as engineering, liability, and life and medical insurance.

 

Over a two-week period, the Afghan insurance professionals will be familiarized with the issuance of insurance policies, receive instruction in actuarial systems, and learn how to indemnify the insured for real or anticipated loss.
