Henke, who has already worked as an assistant coach in Borussia Dortmund, Bayern Munich and Koln joined Esteghlal for an undisclosed fee.

“It’s the first time I want to work outside Germany. I am going to share my experience with Iran football and help the players develop (their abilities),” Henke said during a news conference in Esteghlal club on Saturday.
