Aidin Aghdashlu to review Iranian photography of 1960’s and 1970’s

TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (MNA) -- Iranian painter and art critic Aidin Aghdashlu will be reviewing a series of photos in 1960’s and 1970’s in an exhibition opening on Tuesday at Tehran’s Gallery 6.

Entitled “Continuity”, Aghdashlu will be reviewing a selection of 23 photos taken by Iranian photographers in those two decades.

The first part of the exhibit contains photos by Kaveh Golestan, Bahman Jalali, Kaveh Kazemi, Abbas Kiarostami, Nikol Faridani, Nasrollah Kasraiian, Maryam Zandi, and several more.

Additional sessions are also dedicated to deceased veteran photographers Nikol Faridani, Bahman Jalali and Kaveh Golestan to be reviewed by critics on October 4, 8, and 11.

The exhibit will later continue to show works by other artists in its second section that opens on October 15 and running until October 25.

Works by Seifollah Samadian, Afshin Shahrudi, Marzieh Khorsand, Rana Javadi, Hengameh Golestan, Farhud Haqqi and several others will be put on show at the second section.

The gallery is located at No.66, 18th Alley off North Kheradmand St.
