TEHRAN, Sept. 26 (MNA) -- Head of the Civil Defense Organization of Iran Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali stated on Sunday that Iran has designed a national operating system software for the first time in the country.

Talking in a press conference, Jalali said that the Civil Defense Organization’s duty is to trace military and civilian threats against the country.

He added that the beta version of the national operating system has been produced and examined by the security bodies.

The national OS is safe against different threats, he noted.

Now it is the duty of other executive bodies such as the defense, industries and communications ministries to apply the software, he opined.
