SANANDAJ, Sept. 20 (MNA) – The value of goods seized through closure of borders has reached over 300 million dollars, deputy police chief Ahmad Reza Radan announced on Monday.

Radan made the remarks on the sidelines of a drug smuggling conference in Sanandaj, capital of Kordestan province, on Sunday in an interview with the Mehr News Agency.

Cultural and geographical features of each city must be taken into account in devising such a plan, he opined.

Radan added the trafficking of goods would hurt domestic economy.
