Iran can intercept stealth aircraft: IRGC general

TEHRAN, Sept. 19 (MNA) – An Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps commander says Iran is capable of intercepting radar-evading airplanes.

“We can certainly discover enemy’s stealth aircrafts by the technology we have attained in building radars with various ranges,” Mohammad Hassan Mansourian told the Mehr News Agency.

Iran has already started the mass production of radar systems with various ranges, added Mansourian, a commander of the Khatam ol-Anbia anti-aircraft outpost.

He went on to say that the domestically-manufactured Shahin missile and Mersad medium-range antiaircraft system are the two important aerial achievements.
