What’s in art galleries

TEHRAN, Sept. 12 (MNA) -- An exhibition of photos by 690 Iranian photographers is currently underway at the Iranian Photographers Center.

Focusing on rural homes in Iran, the exhibition has been sponsored by the Housing Foundation of the Islamic Revolution.

The showcase runs until September 22 at the center located on Somayyeh St. off Hafez Ave.

 

Photo

* Photos by Mohammad Khoshru are currently on display in an exhibit at the Etemad Gallery.

The show runs until September 21 at the gallery located at No.5, Shahrzad Blvd., off Zafari Ave, Yarmohammadi St, Darus District.

* Video arts and photos by Maziar Mokhtari are on display in an exhibition at the Tarrahan-e Azad Gallery.

The showcase runs until September 22 at the gallery located at 41 Salmas Square off Fatemi St.

* A collection of photos by Mortez Teimuri has been put on show in exhibit at the Homa Gallery.

The showcase will run until September 16 at the gallery located at 27 Chehrazi St., near the intersection of Niayesh Highway and Vali-e Asr Ave.

* The Sarv Gallery is currently playing host to an exhibition of photos by Ehsan Shad.

The exhibit will run until September 17 at the gallery located in Saei Alley near the Saei Park, Vali-e Asr Ave.


Painting

* The Henna Gallery is currently host to an exhibition of painting by Farbod Morshedzadeh.

The exhibit will continue until September 29 at the gallery, which can be found at 19 Biglarpur Sharqi, off Jahantab St., Qeitarieh neighborhood.

* The Mah Gallery will hang paintings by Saeid Rafiei-Monfared in an exhibition from September 17 to 28.

The gallery is located at 89 Golestan St., off Africa Ave.


Calligraphy

* An exhibition of calligraphy works by Behruz Hakimi is currently underway at the Reza Abbasi.

The exhibit runs until September 22 at the museum located on Shariati St. in the Seyyed Khandan neighborhood.
