What’s in art galleries

TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) -- A group exhibition of handprints by several artists including Elham Parsian, Javad Heidar, Shokufeh Fallah, Homayun Musavi and Ahmad Vakili is underway at the Mehrva Gallery.

The exhibit will continue until June 10 at the gallery located at 78 Azodi (S. Aban) St., off Karim Khan Zand Ave.




* Khak Gallery will be hosting an exhibition of illustrations by prominent artist Qobad Shiva opening on June 12.


The artist’s latest book named “From Years Ago Till Now” will also be introduced at the gallery. The exhibit will continue for two weeks at the gallery located on Barforushan St., off Iranshahr St.





* An exhibition of paintings by Pari Malekzadeh will open at Arya Gallery on June 6.


A selection of works, including figurative images, will be put on display until June 15 at the gallery located at No. 11 Zarrin Alley, off Vali-e Asr Ave.





* Saeid Moayyerizadeh is to narrate Iran’s presidential election through his own works of collage.


He will be performing his art at the open space of the Iranian Artists Forum for ten days beginning on May 31. The forum is located on Musavi St., near Taleqani Ave.
