Iranian village to host land art festival

TEHRAN, May 30 (MNA) -- Polur village on the slope of Mount Damavand will host the 23rd Environmental Art Festival.

The festival is comprised of different sections including visual arts, audible arts, dramatic arts, and multimedia and digital artworks.

 

Iranian land artist Ahmad Nadalian will head the festival which will be held from June 15 to July 16.

 

 

Tehran to hold Iran Painting Week

 

TEHRAN -- Tehran will host “Iran Painting week” annually starting this year.

 

The head of the Iranian Painters Association, Jamshid Haqiqatshenas, said that a painting exhibit, educational workshops as well as meetings on the art of painting will be held during this event.

 

The exact date for the start of the week long event has not been fixed yet, he concluded.

 

 

Bidel to perform in Germany

 

TEHRAN -- The Bidel ensemble will give concerts in three cities in Germany beginning on July 4.

 

Accompanied by the vocalist Hessamedin Seraj, the band will perform selections from their albums “The Fragrance of Heaven”, “The Dream of Union”, “Love and Intoxication” as well as “The Story of the Tresses”.
