Mousavi vows to pursue commitments made by Ahmadinejad

MAHABAD, Western Azerbaijan Province, May 28 (MNA) - Presidential contender Mir-Hossein Mousavi stated on Wednesday that if he wins the upcoming election he will fulfill, to the extent possible, the commitments made by the Ahmadinejad administration.

Any “law-abiding” government is obligated to do commitments made by previous administrations, he noted.

Speaking among a Kurdish population in the city of Mahabad, Western Azerbaijan Province, he noted that a security view toward races should be abolished.

He also said he will not accept any restriction in appointing people from different ethnic groups including “Kurdish brothers” in managerial posts.

He also said poverty should be eradicated from the region through a proper management. The former prime minister added a considerable part of the country’s problems are a result of mismanagement.
