Rezaii vows to set up sports ministry if elected president

TEHRAN, May 27 (MNA) - Presidential hopeful Mohsen Rezaii has told the sports radio that he will establish sports ministry if he wins the June polls.

The former IRGC commander added that a serious revision needed in sports management. However, he said women’s sports should not be viewed for political gains. 

 

In a press conference on Sunday, Rezaii lamented repeated defeat of Iranian sportsmen in the Olympics and other competitions in recent years.
