Iran’s longest gas pipeline comes on stream

TEHRAN, May 20 (MNA) – National Iranian Gas Company Managing Director Azizollah Ramezani said that the country’s longest gas transmission pipeline came on stream on Wednesday.

PIN quoted Ramezani as saying that the pipeline is the first phase of Iran’s north-northeast gas transmission pipeline.

 

The first phase of the pipeline which is 525-Km long supplies gas to the provinces of Semnan, Golestan, Mazandaran, and Khorasan.

 

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad attended the opening ceremony.
