TEHRAN, May 15 (MNA) -- The 6th Planet Doc Review, a Polish film festival underway in Warsaw, dedicated a section to documentary films on contemporary Iran.

14 documentaries have been screened at Iran Gate, the section of the ten-day event dedicated to Iranian films.


“Azadi Cinema” directed by Mehdi Torfi, “Consulting God” by Sadeq Jafari, “Cyanosis” by Rokhsareh Qaemmaqami, “Final Fitting” by Reza Haeri, “Nose, Iranian Style” and “It’s Always Late for Freedom” by Mehrdad Oskuii, “My Back” by Kiarash Asadizadeh, “Persian Cat Walk” by Marjan Alizadeh, and “Torgheh” by Mohammad-Hassan Damanzan were among the entries by filmmakers from Iran.


In addition, “The Queen and I,” “My Iranian Paradise,” “Letters to the President,” “Football Under Cover” and “The Dish” were films on Iran directed by filmmakers from across the world.


The MEDIA Program of the European Union and a great number of international companies in various fields cosponsored the event, which ends tomorrow.
