TEHRAN, May 12 (MNA) – An international seminar titled Foreign Investment in Iran will be held in Tehran on May 30, stated the director of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran here on Tuesday .

IRNA quoted Behrouz Alishiri as saying that the seminar aims to get foreign entities acquainted with investment opportunities and advantages in Iran.

 

According to the public relations office of the Organization for Investment, Economic and Technical Assistance of Iran, investors from 15 countries including Russia, Turkey, Japan, Denmark, and Saudi Arabia will attend the three-day event.

 

“Iranian ministers of finance and economic affairs, foreign affairs, petroleum, president of the Central Bank of Iran, and representative of the Islamic Development Bank will also attend the opening ceremony of the seminar,” Alishiri added.

 

“The seminar will focus on petrochemical, automotive, construction, tourism, steel, intermediary products, energy, telecommunications, food, agriculture, aquaculture, and pharmaceutical industries, “he stated.
