Persepolis sacks assistant Peyrovani

TEHRAN, May 2 (MNA) -- Persepolis football team sacked the club assistant Afshin Peyrovani on Saturday following a request from head coach Nelo Vingada.

“Upon the request of Vingada, Persepolis is going to take on new staff members.Therefore, Peyrovani cannot accompany the team at the moment. We wish him all the best for his future,” the club announced in a statement posted on its web site.

Peyrovani was appointed as Persepolis assistant at the beginning of the last edition of the Iran Professional League (IPL).
