Bahraini FM to sign security pact with Iran in visit to Tehran: reports

TEHRAN, Dec. 24 (MNA) – Bahraini Foreign Minister Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Mohamed Al Khalifa is going to visit Iran soon to sign a security pact between the two countries.

The foreign minister will deliver Bahraini King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa’s message to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Bahraini newspapers reported on Wednesday.

 

Bin Ahmed will also have a meeting with his Iranian counterpart Manouchehr Mottaki to negotiate on bilateral and regional issues.

 

In his recent meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Bahrain Hossein-Amir Abdollahian, the minister has insisted that Iran’s security ensures peace and stability in the region.
