Arvand Kenar port inaugurated in Khuzestan

TEHRAN, Nov. 25 (MNA) – Arvand Kenar port in the southwestern Khuzestan province was inaugurated on Tuesday.

41.3 million dollars was allocated to the construction of the port, which is aimed at exporting various non-oil goods to the Persian Gulf littoral states.

 

The port is equipped with a floating dock, a telecommunication system, as well as a search and rescue station, IRIB reported.

 

Iranian Roads and Transportation Minister Hamid Behbahani participated in the ceremony.
