Oman: Iran plays constructive role in solving regional disputes

TEHRAN, July 28 (MNA)- Omani Foreign Minister Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah here on Monday described Iran’s role as constructive in settling regional disputes.

Iran’s role in regional and international developments is significant,” bin Alawi said in a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki.

 

The two ministers met on the sidelines of the 15th Non-Aligned Movement in Tehran. The NAM meeting opened on Sunday and is scheduled to last for four days.

 

Mottaki expressed hope in the meeting that the NAM members would succeed to adopt a unified approach to promote the body’s international status.

 

“The active presence of the foreign ministers in the Tehran meeting will accentuate its importance,” he said.
