TEHRAN, July 26 (MNA)— “The state company for Transport Infrastructures Construction and Development have requested allocating 4.7 trillion rials ($522 million) out of the fuel saving management resources to the country’s road and rail projects,” deputy director for technical and engineering affairs of the state company for Transport Infrastructures Construction and Development affiliated to ministry of Roads and Transportation said here on Saturday.

“According to the president’s order for commissioning 5 great rail plans by the end of current Iranian calendar year (March 20, 2009) we are doing our best to materialize it by prioritizing and increasing the credit,” Mohammad Samiei explained.

 

“30 development plans including road and rail plans are supposed to become operational by the end of current Iranian year,” he added.

 

Samiei also noted that currently the feasibility studies of Gorgan-Mashad railroad project is on the agenda.
